Will has played for the Club for many, many years and has always contributed greatly to the first team. His commitment to the Village is beyond reproach. Will lived in The Hague, Netherlands during the 2007 season. Despite that, he still completed the 500 mile round trip from Den Haag to Rough Common to play for the club on 6 occasions that year. This is highly indicative of the fact that he is prepared to bleed for his village; which is really all TB Falcon asks for.
Will is hyper competitive, super organised and was one of the Founding Fathers of the now prevailing village ethos. He used to be a satyriasist.
Will is a parsimonious opening bowler; being over 6ft4” he generates good bounce and bowls on the faster side of medium. He has regularly appeared in the end of season leading wicket taker tables for the KVCL and will frequently take over 20 league wickets a season. His main attribute is his ability to pitch the ball up and let it swing. As a consequence of this the majority of his wickets come via the wicketkeeper or slip cordon.
He is also a capable batsman and his technique is taken straight out of the MCC coaching manual. Will normally bats between positions 7-9. However, in reality this does not do his abilities as a batter justice.
Another fine fielder; he is strong either in close or out in the deep. He holds his catches and has a good arm.
He is expected to return from his Grand Tour in 2010.
