Richard Bellenie
| Richie is one of the center pins of the second XI's bowling 'strike-force' with other members being drafted into the firsts or having other commitments. He started off in 2005 picking up wickets that really shouldn't have been allowed, but were wickets none the less. By 2007 Richies progression had become evident, with a little extra pace and several variations, he became quite a handful. Most notorious for his slower ball, nicknamed the 'magic ball' after its appearance in the only match of the 2007 tour, where everyone on the field, including fine leg picked it, except for the batsmen, who had to pay his respects to his middle stump. |
