Player Profiles
James Moss, Stirling, Mossy
James, has recently been selected as 2nd XI captain for the 2008 season, after a few years of careful moulding by his predecessor. Hopefully he has picked up some of Darters' nouse for feild settings. James is not your usual number 11, more in the batting line of Brett Lee, rather than Chris Martin.
His skiddy bowling action has been known to find the odd soft spot on the pitch and launch a speeding bullet at some poor souls head. A testement to his bowling skill, or his groundkeeping ?
I foresee James captaincy to bring a new era of immaginative cricket to The Mighty Village of Harbledown. The only issue will be how distracted he gets by watching Rob warming up on the boundry :-)
All in all james is a handy pace bowler who concedes very few runs, and takes wickets when they are needed most. His versitility in the batting department will also ensure that he will yo-yo up and down the order and be a pain in many an oppositions side. |
