Guy has in the past been unfairly compared to the pub dog.  He has more in common with a golden retriever, a breed that I am becoming more and more an expert in.  He has blond golden locks, has a solid athletism that is evident to all that see him play.  He has a good even temprement and is always friendly.  He has a nice nature and he always loves to play, he is intelligent and can obey many commands his captain/master gives him, in short he is america's favorite dog.   But he is not all perfect, his pooh does stink, he demands food, and if you through him a ball he will eventually lose it, which if you have played with him is kind of ironic.  'Jon Paul' (7pm channel 136 on sky, I am forced to watch), has improved immeasurably over the last few seasons and seems to get better game by game.  His bowling seems to gain pace and control, whilst guy retains a modesty that allows him to grow at a startingly rate.  His batting and fielding, although not as beautiful as him, are very effective.  Has become a real cornerstone of the side.
