Chris is a stalwart twos batsman, one of few in recent years, wielding a bat large enough to feature in a pie chart of factos effecting global warming. Chris has gone about his run scoring business unphased by the inexperiance or pressure of the situation around him.
Chris drives the ball off the front of back foot with tremendous power, and has left many a cricketer's hand stinging. After a slow start to the 2008 season, he hit back with scores of 41, 48 and 47, helping the twos to their most succesful season for several years.
Chris is also a useful off spinner, he has built a reputation as something of a partnership breaker and run stopper. Chris can be relied upon to dry up runs at an end, while constantly threatening to take wickets on all surfaces. The most memorable example of this was his 3/25 from 9 against Borstal in 2008 when all appeared to be lost, Chris removed the middle order and pinned back the run rate.
Chris is not only a key batsman, bowler and strong fielder, but he is also becoming something of a player agent for the twos, who can be relied upon to provide anything between one and four players with as little notice as 12 hours, the most notable of these players being Shai, now a fully fledged club member.
