The club has teams playing on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays; with training taking place on Thursday evenings.
On Sundays the club has two teams playing in the Kent Village League. The First XI is in Division One and the Second XI is in Division 6. The club's performances in the Kent Village League have gone from strength to strength in recent seasons.
On Friday nights the club competes in the Canterbury Twenty:20 League. Harbledown CC were the founding member of this league and its pioneering use of pink balls. On Saturdays the club plays friendlies throughout the season.
During the winter the club competes in the Indoor League at the Kent County Cricket Ground and pre-season nets start in February and are on Thursday nights.
The focal point of the club's season is the August festival week. The week is great fun, with it being a combination of league games, T:20 friendlies and the annual Harbledown invitational sixes tournament.
Over the Winter of 2010/11, the Club has established a junior section. This is being run in accordance with the England & Wales Cricket Board "Clubmark" standards. Clubmark represents a standard of good governance that well run club's should adhere to. The club has three UKCC Level 2 coaches making the standard of coaching on offer, of the highest quality.
The standard of cricket the club competes at is good, particularly Division 1 of the Kent Village League and the Canterbury T:20 league. However, notwithstanding this, the club's fundamental policy is that enjoying playing cricket with your mates is the most important thing. Cricket should be fun and not like work! Because of this ethos, Harbledown is a friendly and inclusive place to play cricket; with all games being concluded with a drink in our pavilion. All new members are always welcomed.
